This sacred Balinese experience combines multiple nature excursions, along with sacred rituals and cultural connections.
This retreat also gives us an opportunity to give back to the land and its people as we nourish ourselves in the heart
vibration. A portion of the retreats fees will go to local villagers to guide us on a nature trek from the top of Lake Atur
caldera desceding down through Balinese villages towards the north coast. We also will be taking part in a charity event to
bring donations to impoverished villages. With these two events we can help support the ongoing development of communities
in need be it through education, organic farming subsides, waste management and eco-tourism. This creates a special bond
between our cultures, a connection of humanity and leaves an everlasting experience in our hearts.

of the excursions. Yogi flexibility is always appreciated!
General information
Participants of all levels of experience are welcome and encouraged to join this retreat.
Seasonal information
Bali’s just south of the equator which means this Indonesian island has a tropical climate, with high temperatures all year
round. You’ll see plenty of sun if you’re going in April even though it’s the final month of the wet season. The western
monsoon runs from late October to April and brings wetter weather than the eastern monsoon, which runs from May to October. It usually rains in short and heavy bursts, often in the morning, which clears quickly. Bali has a number of high mountains in its centre, including Mount Agung, and this area is generally cooler and wetter. The further away from the mountains you go, the warmer and drier you’ll be.
Villages in southern Bali have an average high of 31ºC in April and things stay nice and warm in the evenings, so it’s always shorts and t-shirts weather. At 28ºC, the sea’s perfect for swimming, while humidity’s very high. There’s 111mm of rain over 11 days, but you can still expect 12 hours of daylight with ten hours of sunshine each day. UV levels will be extremely high so remember your sun screen. Sunset’s around 6.15pm for much of April
Electricity information
In Bali and Indonesia you can expect the 2 pin socket and plug as used in larger parts of Europe. Whether you are staying in a hotel or in a private villa you should be able to get an adapter if you ask for one. The pins are round, not flat or rectangular.
If you come from Australia, Japan, USA, Malaysia, UK, Canada, Singapore, and some countries in Africa you will most likely
simply need a plug adapter otherwise the plugs for your electrical appliances will not fit into the “Bali Socket”, although
the voltage should be o.k.
